KLEAN POWER 10
Reference Power Hub
High-current distribution, multi-stage parallel filters, and a variety of options to suit every need

The power conditioner capable of delivering a virtually unlimited amount of energy at any given moment, without contamination.
Klean Power™ 10 is the clean energy your music needs !
The distribution of electrical power plays a crucial role in audio systems, capable of enhancing their qualities or, conversely, compromising them.
In most cases, this delicate role is assigned to the power strip to which all the components of the system are generally connected.
The power strip thus becomes the energy hub of our audio system.
Many factors contribute to the final result: from the quality of the contacts to the type of internal distribution, through to the choice of conductors, without neglecting the quality of the mechanical construction and overall ergonomics.
Our Klean Power 10 power strip is the result of specific choices aimed at ensuring virtually flawless power distribution.

ALL THE ENERGY
The inability to deliver all the necessary energy at the exact moment it is required constitutes the upper limit of the reproduction system’s dynamics.
The oversizing of the conductors, combined with the internal distribution of very high current and the quality of the contacts, determines the ability to supply large amounts of energy without any compression or slowness.
ALL THE DYNAMICS
Background noise, whether perceived or not, determines the lower limit of the system’s dynamics and prevents the complete reproduction of all harmonic and spatial information. The result is a loss of realism.
Eliminating background noise is therefore always necessary.
The best way to do this is to act at the central point of the system, the one that powers all its components.
The ability to feed all the necessary energy into the system at any given moment, combined with sophisticated, high-level filtering, makes Klean Power 10 a virtually ideal power source.

The internal filtering system, which is parallel and distributed, maximizes the depth of coverage to deliver a powerful and clean power supply in any setting.
INTERNAL DISTRIBUTION
Every component of our sound reproduction system should receive the necessary amount of energy at all times, without delays and without foreign components that could compromise its ideal functioning.
In most high-quality power distributors, the internal wiring is star-shaped, which, if well designed, makes the different sockets substantially equivalent, but at the expense of excessive wiring that creates losses and interference through capacitive and inductive coupling.
The entire KleanPower line uses internal distribution with high-purity copper bars that minimize wiring and transport energy at maximum speed and without limitations. The exclusive use of copper screws for all connections ensures loss-free transport.
TOTAL FILTERING
The overall effectiveness of a noise elimination system depends on its individual elements and how they are synergistically combined.
Parallel cells differ in terms of width and depth of intervention, and are positioned close to individual outlets in order to maximize their effectiveness.
But the fight against interference doesn’t stop there: the ground line filtering allows for greater separation between individual system components and between them and the rest of the electrical network, significantly reducing the negative effects of ground reference contamination.
A clean and stable ground reference is the basis for realistic and credible reproduction, solid in its reconstruction and perfectly repeatable as external conditions vary.
PROTECTION
Beyond sound, for sound
Protecting our beloved system is part of the care we owe it to thank it for the many emotions it continually gives us, allowing us to enjoy our favorite music.
One of the most significant risks that can compromise its integrity is undoubtedly that of power surges, very intense peaks that can cause substantial and potentially irreparable damage.
This is why we have equipped our KleanPower 10 with T-MOV protection, which intervenes very quickly if the mains voltage exceeds the maximum permitted value.

BLOCKING THE DC COMPONENT
The standard supply voltage is characterized, at least in theory, by a perfectly sinusoidal and symmetrical waveform, whose average value is therefore zero: the two half-waves, in fact, have identical values and opposite signs.
In the real world, this ideal condition does not always occur, and the electrical grid supplying our system may be subject to imbalances, even temporary ones of varying magnitude: the two half-waves are no longer perfectly symmetrical, and the average value is no longer zero.
This creates a DC voltage superimposed on the AC voltage, which reaches all the components of our audio system, creating issues that can have significant impacts on their operation.
What effect does this have on the sound?
In most cases, signal-processing devices—such as preamplifiers and sources in general—have internal power supplies designed with a generous margin, sufficient to cancel out the negative effect of any DC voltage present across the input transformer.
In power amplifiers, even a small DC component can often cause the cores of their toroidal transformers to saturate. The first direct consequence is the classic mechanical hum that can be heard even at the listening position during musical pauses or at low volume.
Within certain limits, the negative effect is confined to this—annoying but without any particular impact on the sound quality of the playback. Once this limit is exceeded, however, distortions of the sine wave may occur, affecting the circuitry downstream of the power supply and causing suboptimal operation of the internal circuitry, with negative effects perceptible during listening.
In such cases, blocking the DC component before it reaches the system’s input is no longer an option but becomes a necessary step to restore optimal conditions for uncompromised listening.
The KleanPower™ 10 Solution
The DC-Blocker option blocks power grid asymmetries and the resulting DC components at the source.
Our DC-Blocker module is designed for high power consumption and any type of load: no turn-on loss, no dynamic compression, and no loss in sound quality!
GROUND LINE FILTERING
Connecting the system to the ground line is necessary for at least two reasons:
The first, and most important, certainly concerns electrical safety, which must always be observed.
The second reason stems from the need to create a single, sufficiently stable reference for the signal along its entire path.
Since no solution is flawless, connecting the ground of each device to the same ground creates two distinct paths: that of the signal ground and that of the ground line. To simplify things a bit, what results is the creation of a number of closed loops, each of which can act as an antenna and pick up external interference of any type and frequency.
We must also remember that the ground line is commonly used in the home to “discharge” excess electromagnetic interference and comply with international standards that strictly set its limits.
The connection between the ground line and the signal ground thus becomes a “gate” through which the interference present on the former enters and contaminates the musical signal, with effects similar to those described in the previous case.
What are the effects on sound?
The overall effect of this situation, in which all systems are operating, is a higher-than-expected noise level and a consequent reduction in dynamic range due to masking.
Ultimately, what is perceived is increased listening fatigue, along with a loss of realism and engagement with the musical performance.
Mitigating this phenomenon involves various solutions, which can be implemented individually or in combination. Some relate to how the different system components are connected (such as balanced connections), while others can be implemented directly within the power distribution unit.
The KleanPower™ 10 Solution
KleanPower 10 offers two different solutions:
- the simplest one, included in the basic version, which separates the external earth line from the internal one, with the latter remaining shared amongst the system’s devices
- the more comprehensive one, available as an option, which separates each outlet from the others as well as from the external ground line, also significantly reducing interaction between the connected devices
These solutions allow for further improvement in the overall quality of the power supplied to the system.
THE RESULT
When each component of our system receives the right amount of energy, both in terms of quality and quantity, it obtains the ideal basis on which its specific characteristics are founded.
It can then fully express its potential without external limitations, just as it was actually conceived and created by its designer.
Ideal performance requires ideal conditions, and the first of these is undoubtedly the power supply.
When the energy entering our audio system is adequate, so is the energy that comes out and transforms into the precious sounds we seek.
This results in increased dynamics, realism, and concreteness of the musical message, the correct three-dimensional reconstruction of the sound image, and total immersion, allowing us to fully enjoy the pleasure of listening.
