However, it is also a rather complex operation that must be directed correctly to avoid side effects, and to be most effective it must be done at the point where contamination occurs, i.e. at the point where all the system’s electronics draw power from the grid

Aluminium shielding housing:

It would be counterproductive if the disturbances, once inside the Black Hole, could be radiated back into the surrounding environment, contaminating the musical signal. The Black Hole has a body made entirely of aluminum and connected to the ground terminal: a Faraday cage that completely isolates the inside of the filter from the outside world
