Apotema NOISE KILLER: connects in series, works in parallel, and is designed to provide each system with a disturbance-free power supply
plug-in mains purifier
Each active device runs on the energy supplied to it from the power grid, and this energy is the basis on which every system begins to make music.
If your system is not yet able to reach its full potential, the limitation is probably to be found in the inadequate quality of the power supply.
Noise Killer is designed to eliminate electrical noise directly at the input of individual audio system components. This maximises the filtering effect and makes the quality of the upstream power cable less influential.
Although at first glance it may look like a series filter, the Noise Killer is for all intents and purposes a parallel filter: decreases noise, increases dynamics.
Eliminating mains interference and disturbances is a necessary step in raising the quality level of any music reproduction system.

The cleanliness of the power supply is a decisive factor in achieving maximum performance from any music reproduction system. Noise-sensitive components, such as signal sources and especially phono preamplifiers that handle very low level signals, require a noise-free power supply.
Apotema’s NOISE KILLER is very easy to use: simply plug it in directly between the cable and the power socket of the device, which can finally work to its full potential.
For reasons due to the principles behind its operation, it is not recommended to combine the Noise Killer with filtered multisockets that make use of ‘series’ type filters, either differential or common mode.
